Great Actress Jessica Alba was born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, California. Her father, Mark, is of Spanish/Mexican-American descent, and her mother, Cathy, of French/Danish heritage. She has a younger brother, Joshua, who also is an actor. Jessica's family relocated several times before finally settling down in Southern California. At the age of 5, she knew she wanted to be an actress. Her acting career was ready to take off when an agent signed her, a couple of month after a 12-year-old Jessica took an acting class.
