Great Singer Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981, in Kentwood, Louisiana. Her parents are Jamie and Lynne, ans he has a sister: Jamie Lynn, and a brother: Bryan. Britney always liked to preform and she sang with the choir in her local church. At the age of 8, she auditioned for the popular children's variety show, The New Mickey Mouse Club, but was refused because of her young age. Britney spent the next three years studying at the Professional Performing Arts School, and also appeared in several television commercials and off-Broadway plays.
