Centerfold Akira Lane was born in Okinawa, Japan. Her mother is Okinawan, and her father is Hawaiian, and she is an only child. She attended American schools in the Japanese isles. At age 18, Akira Lane moved to Norfolk, Virginia, where she attend Old Dominion University. During a spring break holliday in San Diego, California, Akira fell in love with the West Coast, and a few months later she moved to there.
